Answer for Lee (option B, exercise 9)

Hi Lee!, how are things?

It is really nice to know about you again, I was looking forward to writing you, I´m really sorry I´ve taken so long to write you but I´ve been a little bit busy with my job and the university, and… you know, the rest of the time I always try to share with my baby and my wife –by the way, they send you warm regards to you and your family- that´s why I hadn´t written again, besides, there wouldn´t be news for telling you.

Anyway, thanks for the email you send me last week, dad and mom are OK. They traveled to Cartagena yesterday and are having fun there.
What can I tell you? Do you remember I applied for a scholarship at the University? Well, I got it! And now I´m in 4th. Semester, likewise next month I´m going to an International education congress and I´m so happy because of that.

On the other hand, I don´t want to continue working at school where I´ve been working for three years, I´m really tired, I just hope to finish this year in a good way and the next year I think I´m going to rest and focus in the studies although if I find something that I realize it´s a good opportunity, of course I´ll take it; what happens is the salary is not so good and I have to do lots of things so I prefer to take a break for a couple of months.

Well, I think it´s all for today; I hope to know some news about you.

Best wishes.

Carlos

RULES OF NETIQUETTE

RULES OF NETIQUETTE

I would like to express my personal opinion about one of the most important rules of netiquette (well, actually it is my personal opinion), I mean a rule I found on http://www.emailreplies.com/, There, there is a theme called 32 most important email etiquette tips, and rule number three is: "Use proper spelling, grammar and punctuation". I really love that topic because it has been one of my obsessions (in spanish, at least!), and despite I do not have clear enough the whole rules, I have always tried to write in a right way and I try to use a good spelling and grammar rules -Puntuaction has been one of my black beasts-.
I deeply believe the good spelling is a rule of respect with others, that is why we must learn about it and always practice all of them when we write a letter, an email or any thing that we write; I am convinced that a text that we write shows who we are, it does not matter if we are writing a formal text or even to a close friend, when we write, we show our behavior,  our level of education and as I wrote above, we show who we are.

One day I sent an email for my boss, but I did the big mistake I did not check it before sending it, it was an information that I had to send but I forgot to add the most important thing: the file with my researching; it happened on weekend, and on monday, when I arrived to the school,  the coordinator was really upset because after sending the email I traveled and nobody could talk with me. Resoult: the owner of the school scolded me and obviously I felt so bad in front of my coworkers.

My first post

K
What I know about blogs
W
What I want to know about blog
L
What I learnt about blog
Well, actually I don´t  know many things about blogs; as far as I know a blog is kind of website where people can express their own opinions and they can interact with the blogger (the creator of the blog)
Of course, I would like to know everything about it, I mean how to create a very interesting blog, how to follow other blogs with interesting themes for me, how to edit a blog in order to make it more interesting for people who want to follow my blog, etc.
The first thing that I learnt (actually I remembered) is that creating a blog is a very simple thing, it is just to complete some very simple steps; other thing is that a blog is a very interesting and useful tool for sharing personal (and why not? Professional) information; I also learnt that last century blogs were used just for professional activities (specially reporters who shared news for a team who decided the news for newspapers; the topics were general and limited; in century 21st. a blog is more general, people can write about everything and it can be organized by posts; other thing is that you can contact with people who have similar interests
